T minus 2 Days

no more cookies,
no more cakes,
no more staying in bed wicked late,


if you really want to win,
you better put some effort in.

Like my little chant to myself? I think its cute. So far so good with today. Eggs and bacon for breakfast, the downside, french vanilla latte. A perfect one I should add, its a study aid and I really don't know how I am going to live without them. I asked if I bring in Almond milk if they can make them for me and they said that should be cool. Therefore, Life is good.

For the record, I didn't have any Christmas cookies, which are looking so fine on my kitchen table and I ignored the baked goods at the farmers market, and cafe. I also was up pretty early, around 7:30 which is totally sleeping in for me. So yeah, I am rocking so far. Now, I would be a shooting star if I had gone to Crossfit this morning but I am not that good. The challenge doesn't start till Monday, so I figure I am safe for now.

I have to keep reminding myself that I signed up for this, I want to do this and get my rear in gear. I had three months of fun to get used to Crossfit, and messing with Paleo, now it is time to get serious. It doesn't help that I am currently studying for my CPA, and I am going into Tax Season, which means lots of overtime and goodies at the office. Plus, lots of take out.

Maybe that's the perfect time to be doing it. If I can do it during the worst time f the year, during the summer and fall shouldn't be hard, right?

Anyway, I gotta study. I am taking another test either next weekend or the week after it. I gotta get this stuff ingrained in my head. My reward for getting stuff done today, is I get to write my nutrition plan. I know, I am just that cool.

90 Day Challenge - ACF

At my gym(Albany Crossfit), there is a 90 day challenge starting January 1st. It involves Crossfit, Paleo nutrition, and becoming a healthier you. I am way too competitive for my own good so I signed up and I am ready to go. I probably shouldn't mention that this week I have spent time having my favorite not Paleo foods. The prizes are a great incentive for me, not to mention I have my own challenge going on.

This year is the year of fitness for me. It started July 8th 2011, and will end July 8th 2012. So, I am basically 6 months into my challenge. The first 3 months were awesome. I lost 15 pounds and a ton of inches. The last 3 months, I have stayed at the same weight, and my inches hadn't really changed.

Anyway back to the challenge at hand. I need to stick with 3 goals, measure my stats, and come up with a nutrition plan. Thankfully, I already have had the photo taken which was challenging for me. Women had to wear a sport bra and if you now me you know I hate showing my stomach. Its a personal weakness of mine. Makes me cringe inside if you know what I mean, so yeah...

Okay 3 goals:
+ Lose 10 pounds. I would like to get this ball rolling.
+ Crossfit 4 or more times a week. I currently come in 3 days a week and would like to up it.
+ Get over my fears of using bands for pull ups. I currently do ring rows and haven't even tried the bands. They freak me out a little too much.
